About

I am a PhD Candidate and Research Associate at Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory (BAO) in Armenia, specializing in computational astronomy and astroinformatics. My doctoral research is supervised by Professor Areg M. Mickaelian, President of BAO, under whose guidance I conduct research in astronomical surveys and astroinformatics, and Professor Rainer Spurzem from the University of Heidelberg, with whom I develop advanced computational methods for stellar dynamics and compact object evolution. My primary research focuses on developing pulsar tracking subroutines for the NBODY6++GPU astrophysical simulation code, with emphasis on pulsars and millisecond pulsars in globular clusters. Working closely with Professor Spurzem, I advance N-body simulation techniques to model the formation and evolution of compact objects including neutron stars and black holes in dense stellar environments. This work bridges theoretical astrophysics with high-performance computing to understand the dynamical processes governing compact object populations. In parallel, I collaborate with Dr. Ararat Yeghikyan at BAO on supernova remnants research, employing PLUTO for magnetohydrodynamic simulations and Cloudy for photoionization modeling to investigate the physical and chemical evolution of SNR environments. I also contribute to astronomical survey projects and the development of astroinformatics methodologies, including data pipeline design and remote collaboration tools for international research teams, Under Professor Mickaelian's mentorship. Additionally, I have authored a comprehensive Persian-language book on advanced astroinformatics and computational astronomy, making these specialized topics accessible to Persian-speaking students and researchers.
